Librarian-01 (UR) PB-2 Pay Band Rs.9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- Age Below 35 years By Direct/Promotion

1. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Preferably in Science Stream. 2. Degree or Diploma in Librarianship of a recognized University. 3. Type writing speed 30 w.p.m. 4. Social work certificate will be preferred. 5. Master Degree in any discipline 01 years in the profession. Desirable: - 1) Knowledge in Hindi & 2). Experience in handling publications dealing with Science & Technology.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Applications duly completed in all respects and signed by the candidates with attested photocopies of relevant documents, educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate, salary drawn, etc. should reach to Director, National Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped,   B.T. Road, Bon-Hooghly, Kolkata-90 within 21 days from the date of advertisement in Employment news. Applicationsreceived late will not be considered.
2. Reservation and Relaxation of Age for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman etc. will be applicable as per Govt. of India Rules.
3. Candidates working in Government /Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.
4. Relaxation in higher qualification and years of experience of the candidate may be considered at the discretion of selection committee. The selection committee may also consider the person on lower post in case of candidate with required qualification is not available by relaxing of required experience.
5. Candidates having academic aptitude, research publication and higher qualificationshall be preferred on   academic posts.
6. The candidates selected on direct recruitment will be governed by the provisions of theNew Pension Scheme introduced by the Government of India with effect from 01-01-2004.
7. Selected candidates may have to work at Kolkata or elsewhere at the centers of this Institute.
8. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all application without giving any reasons.
